Crane Currency is looking to fill a *Human Resources Director* Job at the Dalton, MA facility.
This position reports to the VP of HR and is open to onsite work or a hybrid arrangement.
The *Director of HR* plays a critical role with a full range of HR services, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, and a modest amount of compensation and benefits administration.
This individual will be responsible for a strong HR partnership with our Dalton site leader and play an active role in the site leadership team.
This individual will be a key player on the global HR Leadership Team (HRLT) and will contribute to the establishment and achievement of the strategic goals and operating plans for the business unit.
In addition, this role will ensure the HR strategy is well aligned with these objectives.
Other HR Business Partnership opportunities may be assigned as support is needed within the business.
*HR Director Responsibilities include* * Lead, manage and coordinate human resources services, policies, and programs to provide a high-performance culture that emphasizes safety, security and quality while continuously developing employee engagement in a production workforce.
This position will lead the organization’s focus in overall talent management and leadership development to align and support the organization’s strategic goals.
* Provide Human Resources consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and employee relations as well as tactical guidance and hands-on support to establish and set the standard for performance.
* Provide strategic leadership in developing a culture that facilitates high employee engagement and an overall competitive edge.
* Partner with Business Client groups & collaborate with local management and other HR colleagues for the effective provision of HR services including: Talent Acquisition and Management; Organizational Design, Development and Planning; Performance Management and Improvement; Employee Relations; Compensation Evaluation and Recommendations; Employee Onboarding, Training and Development; Policy Evaluation, Development and Documentation; Employee Communication, Employee Benefits Administration, Welfare, Wellness and Health; and Employee Services and Counseling.
*Required Qualifications* * BS degree in HR or related field * HR experience in a multi-shift manufacturing setting * 7+ years of experience in Global Human Resources; or experience driving cultural change and implementing new business processes.
* Knowledge in all aspects of HR, with a broad base of knowledge and business acumen * Sound judgement, discretion, flexibility, and integrity * Organizational astuteness and people skills, along with ability to respond to inquiries or complaints.
* Continuous improvement mindset (CBS).
* Current Knowledge on local legal/regulatory requirements, along with ability to read, analyze, and interpret journals, and legal documents.
* Applicants must be US Citizen and will need to demonstrate suitability in a Position of Public Trust.
Desired * Master’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
* Human Resources management experience in a global manufacturing environment.
