*GENERAL SUMMARY*
Plan, coordinate, and implement quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards and customer expectations.
Coordinate activities with quality, manufacturing, engineering, and other organizational functions to achieve objectives of Quality Management System.
Make data driven decisions through effective communication, application of problems solving tools and statistics.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May Include*
* Interface with customers, registrars, and other auditing organizations
* Maintain documentation for AS9100 quality management system requirements.
* Identify and mitigate risk regarding quality requirements during contract review.
* Create quality plans, including Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Capability studies, MSA, etc.
* Develop and document methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
* Lead nonconformance MRB activities through effective root cause and corrective action.
* Monitor processes through internal and external audits.
* Collaborate with teammates on data collection and analysis.
* Supplier development, approval, and monitoring.
* Embrace lean methodologies of standard work, mistake-proofing, etc.
* Mentor and teach teammates about Lean and Six Sigma concepts.

GD&T) and technical specifications.
* Ability to model the habits of service with integrity toward customers and teammates.
Must be able to lead others in a caring and fair manner.
* Ability to determine appropriate methodology of manufacturing sequences, involving machining, welding, and other processes as appropriate.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
*Education and Experience*
* Bachelor of Science degree (B.
S.
) in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum of two to five years’ experience as a quality professional in an automotive, aerospace &/or power generation manufacturing environment.
Preferable in a machining environment.
* Experience with ISO 9001/AS 9100
* Must be a US citizen.
*TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED*
Computers, measurement devices, CMM, various software programs (excel, power point, databases).
