At Cardinal Point Collective we provide outsourced operational support to licensed, adult-use cannabis product manufacturers and brands to assist in the development and sale of innovative cannabis products.
The Wholesale Sales Representative for Cardinal Point Collective will be selling Umamii branded cannabis products.
Umamii is an up and coming cannabis brand in the growing New York State cannabis market.
Umamii is focused on cultivating small-batch, artisanal flower and extracts for cannabis connoisseurs.
We are a growing, fast-paced, start-up.
We are looking for a Wholesale Sales Representative to support bringing Umamii to market.
*Position Summary:*
Cardinal Point Collective is seeking a sales representative to work on behalf of Umamii.
This individual will be a part of Umamii's growing sales department.
The Wholesale Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving sales targets that align with revenue goals and creating long standing relationships with dispensary partners.
We are looking for someone who will wear many hats during the early phase of the business with the understanding they are a part of a start-up organization.
- Generate sales revenue through new account acquisition and management of existing accounts throughout Central / Upstate New York.
- Understand sales goals and monitor progress frequently.
- Work collaboratively with account executives and brand ambassadors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, prospective accounts and key decision makers in the cannabis industry
- Submit sales orders accurately and on time
- Ensure all sales are in compliance with New York State's cannabis regulations
- Ensure accounts receive exceptional service and that orders are filled and shipped on time
- Update and maintain customer data, sales order and account changes in our CRM system
- Relay customer feedback to the COO / Marketing Dept to ensure continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance visual merchandising within dispensaries
- Administrative tasks associated with the job
- Represent Umamii in a professional manner at all times
*Qualifications & Requirements:*
- 2+ years of sales experience, including a proven track record of success, is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate an exceptional level of EQ in all professional interactions
- Superior sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct at all times
- Comfortable with technology & computers
- Willingness to travel (over 75% of the time) within the state of New York on a regular basis to meet with accounts.
Travel will mostly consist of the Downstate region, but there may be times where travel outside of Downstate is necessary.
- Strong attention to details
- CRM experience a plus
- A genuine and extensive knowledge and passion for cannabis products.
- Proficient in Google Suite
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
