Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team.
The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish.
This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.
This is for our social sales department so weekends are a must.
Office hours are day time with 1 evening a week.
Duties:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including sending contracts, detail food choices, outline timeline
- Develop event budgets and manage expenses to ensure cost-effective planning
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and equipment
- Create event timelines and schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time
- Oversee event setup, including arranging seating, decorations, and audiovisual equipment
- Manage event - - Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in retail math calculations for budgeting purposes
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
