Hydroponics, Retail Sales

Hydroponic & indoor/outdoor grow supply store in Latham, NY is seeking PT Sales Associates.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for as well as prior hands on experience with indoor and/or outdoor gardening.
*Skills* * Prior sales experience in a retail setting is highly recommended.
* Experience with indoor gardening, outdoor gardening and/or hydroponics is preferred.
* Thorough Knowledge of growing supplies/plant nutrients a plus * Strong communication skills * Must be comfortable working alone or as a team * Desire to learn as well as educate * Computer literacy required * A high school degree or GED preferred * The ability to lift and move up to 50lbs * Punctual/reliable *Duties* * Answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and offer suggestions * Assist customers with product selection * Develop and maintain ongoing customer relationships * Meeting or exceed sales goals * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store * Assist with checking in orders * Maintain accurate inventory counts *Pay* * $15-$16/hour.
Wage is commensurate with experience.
