Sodexo is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, high energy Field Marketing Specialist 2 for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY!!
The Field Marketing Specialist will improve the customer experience through an interactive, well-thought-out marketing strategy, executed to drive sales and enhance the impact of the program.
This position requires a high level of customer, community and client engagement.
The right candidate will bring a curious nature, experience in developing client/customer loyalty and an ability to help build a brand identity for RPI dining.
They will engage with and integrate into the student body in order to obtain honest and constructive feedback and suggestions.
Key responsibilities include supporting the website/social media channels, analyzing data and working with clients and the team to create events and promotions.
Sodexo manages resident dining, retail food concepts, and catering.
Client interactions will be frequent in this role.
The successful candidate will:
work with managers, clients, the District Manager and Vice President in all matters relating to marketing, to help establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship; and/or
be responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all marketing activities throughout the enterprise, through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employees.

strong computer skills, with a preference for experience with Scala;
best in class presentation skills, with extensive PowerPoint experience;

the ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage workload; and / or contract food services experience (preferred).
