We are actively seeking an administrative assistant with a leasing/real estate background to fill a vacancy in our busy scattered-site property management office.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with property management and/or real estate, know how to handle stressful situations, be extremely organized, practice excellent follow up activities and be willing to work as a team player.
A sense of humor doesn’t hurt either!
A little about us……We are a small office powered by teamwork and commitment toward professional and courteous interactions with our tenants, clients and vendors.
We work closely as a team to accomplish daily, monthly and growth goals.
We currently management over 150 residential and commercial rentals in the Capital District and have spearheaded many development/construction projects locally as well.
Our company is experiencing a growth spurt and needs to add a solid administrative assistant to our team.
We see this position as one that will grow and change as the business’s needs dictate.

Administrative support duties include but are not limited to:
-Tracking unit vacancies and updating appropriate spreadsheets, communicating same to tenants
-Creating and posting vacancy ads on social media and website
-Track and practice follow-up guidelines to collect delinquent rent and report same at weekly meeting
-Review, screen and provide notations for new applicants including recommendations for approval
-Remain legally compliant in communication, fair housing and eviction process service
-Coordinating with National Grid for utility starts and stops
Other Valuable Skills:
-General knowledge of Landlord-Tenant Law
-Active Real Estate License (not required)
-Knowledge of Tenant eviction process
-Experience with AppFolio software, or other property management software services
-Experience with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs and Calendar)
