The Mortgage Loan Processor I will be responsible for completing the following job duties.
Reviews all documentation provided by Loan Officer and ensures all eFolder Placeholders are properly labeled, broken down, and tracked per Spreadsheets provided.
Makes applicable updates to Asset, Credit, Employment per documentation provided.
Reviews file to ensure all opening tasks were completed per FSU Loan Review Procedure prior to submission to Processing.
Quickly and efficiently reviews files received/assigned from the File Set-up Queue after Loan Officer has requested File Set-up Addresses any Red Flags and notes them in Tell the Story and Emails Loan Officer to advise, including, but not limited to, AUS Findings Ineligible, Credit Report has expired or will expire prior to closing, etc.
Completes File Set-up Checklist in LOS System and note any observations or documents needed in Tell the Story Maintains file review turn times of 24 hours or less Meets established production standards and metrics for this position Knows, understands, and lives the company core values Performs other duties as assigned Training as needed This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; and nothing in this herein restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
Qualifications: The following qualifications are required of the Mortgage Loan Processor I.
Education: A college degree with three years related experience and/or training.
A combination of equivalent education and experience is acceptable.
Experience: Previous experience in the mortgage industry with understanding of loan processing desired.
