The job of the Workplace Community Manager is a bit of HR, office administration, internal communication, and project management all rolled into one.
You'll be the key resource in charge of people-related functions in the company.
*We expect you to: *
· Maintain and develop programs designed around improving the Employee Experience, as well as building and reinforcing a workplace culture based on Clipcentric’s values.
· Keep the pulse on employee sentiment and serve as a resource for employee concerns.
Have the ability to solicit and use employee feedback to inform ideas for improvements to the workplace.
· Maintain office environment, working with various outside vendors to ensure the office is fully stocked and has what it needs to operate smoothly.
· Maintain and develop Clipcentric’s Talent Management and Development programs, including performance reviews, manager training on boarding, and professional staff development.
· Oversee Talent Acquisition, including the creation of job postings, interview candidates, and guiding them through the on boarding process.
Develop new and interesting ways to engage new employees throughout the onboarding process.
· Stay up to date on all federal, state, and local labor laws and employment policies as they pertain to Clipcentric employees.
· Manage and oversee the office environment, creating an enjoyable and inclusive space to ensure employee satisfaction, developing new team building experiences.
· Become the key point of contact for all benefits vendors, communicate benefits options to employees, keep tabs on emerging trends in compensation to keep pay competitive, and assess overall total rewards for employees.
· Update, preserve and maintain confidential employee files as needed.
· High emotional intelligence and excellent discretion and judgement.
*To be successful: *
· Demonstrated professional experience in an employee-focused role, with a track record of success at developing employee-centered programs and being an advocate for employees.
· Excellent conflict resolution skills and experienced in employee mediation.
· Experience in building and implementing effective programs and procedures in talent acquisition, talent management, and employee experience.
· Knowledge in evaluation and negotiation benefit programs and developing compensation plans.
· Basic understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations.
· Self-starter who can take general direction to achieve goals.
· Works well within a team environment or individually.
· Preferred: Experience working in an entrepreneurial software organization
This position is located in our Albany, NY office.
We currently work off a hybrid schedule with optional work-from-home days twice per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.
