Chatham High School Principal

Chatham Central School District is a small, rural school district located in Columbia County, about 30 minutes southeast of Albany, New York.
The District seeks to hire a new principal to replace a longtime administrator who is retiring.
This position is a full-time, probationary, 12-month position beginning as early as June 2024.
Acts as lead school administrator by providing leadership and supervision in administering the educational program of the High School with an enrollment of 300 students in order to promote the educational development and achievement of students in accordance with Board of Education policies and administrative practices.
Must have valid NYS certification in School Building Leader (SBL), School District Administration (SDA) or School Administration & Supervision (SAS) and proven successful administrative experience as a building or school district instructional leader.
Salary is based on experience and the Chatham Principals’ Association contract.
