Position: CDL A Driver
Primary Responsibilities:
• Operate CDL A vehicles, including tractor-trailers, safely and efficiently for the transportation of goods and materials.
• Strictly adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure and incident-free journey.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, promptly reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to maintain its integrity during transportation.
• Effectively communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate routes, delivery schedules, and any special instructions.
• Provide exceptional customer service during pick-ups and deliveries, representing Arnoff Moving and Storage with professionalism and courtesy.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including logs, trip reports, and delivery receipts.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Hold a valid CDL A license with a clean driving record, showcasing a strong commitment to road safety.
• Possess excellent driving skills and a solid understanding of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for clients throughout the transportation process.
• Exhibit strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Display physical fitness and stamina, as the position involves loading and unloading cargo and performing repetitive tasks.
• Showcase strong organizational and time management skills, enabling efficient route planning and timely deliveries.
• Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
