*Job Overview:*
We are looking to add a *Snow Plow Truck Driver / Machine Operator* to our team.
Please inquire only if you have reliable transportation to our shop (1580 Columbia Turnpike, Castleton-on-Hudson).
This position is full-time through the end of November / early December, and then becomes an “on-call” position through the winter months (December – April.
) Hours during these months vary based on winter conditions.
We are looking for hard working, ambitious individuals who enjoy being outdoors.
This is a flexible position with opportunity to grow.
Pay is based on level of experience.
Experience snowplowing with truck + skidsteer is required.
*Responsibilities:*
* Assist with fall cleanups, landscape installations, and various landscaping projects until snow plow season
* Operation of snowplow truck and skidsteer for snow removal on Commercial parking lots
* Shoveling, salting and snow blowing
* Must be able to work flexible hours and be reliable on an on-call basis during winter season, any day of the week, day or night
* Prospective applicant will be expected to represent the company in a professional manner
* Other temporary or permanent duties may be assigned at Owners discretion if required
* Opportunity for full-time Landscape position resuming in Spring if interested
*Qualifications + Physical Requirements:*
* Attention to detail
* Must be a reliable driver.
A clean, current, and valid driver’s license is required
* Ability to work flexible on-call hours, day or night during winter season
* ·Applicant must be able to lift, push, and/or carry 50+/- pounds.
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Pay is based on level of experience, with opportunity for raises based on performance
