Islander Pools and Spas, the largest supplier of pools and hot tubs in the Northeast, has a full time opening at our Colonie location for a Hot Tub Delivery Technician.
As a member of our delivery team you must drive customer satisfaction.
You are responsible for delivering high end merchandise without damage, leading and motivating a crew, and delegating work.
*Job Responsibilities:* * Work/communicate with our sales & service teams to deliver customer value * Deliver and install hot tubs in and around Albany up to 75-mile radius * Problem solve difficult deliveries to get the job done * Communicate with customers about technical issues and spa care information * Install accessories on delivered hot tubs * Record job results and delivery issues *Requirements:* * HEAVY LIFTING - Must be able to lift 100lbs.
* Must have personal cell phone * Clean driving record * High school diploma or equivalent * Good customer interaction skills with clean appearance * Excellent phone etiquette and a clear speaking voice * Positive attitude and enjoy a challenge * Must be able to work with minimal supervision * Possess strong organizational skills and an eye for attention to detail * Able to use tools efficiently *Bonus job skills – NOT REQUIRED but considered beneficial* * Moving experience * Forklift experience * Passion for problem solving * Small appliance repair * Electrical background * Farming experience * Weight lifting / training experience *\_*\_ _\*_\* *_All new hires will undergo on the job training, previous “hot tub” experience not required.
