Summary of Role:
To process our members’ financial transactions and informational needs and offer product suggestions and assistance with all eCommerce products by phone or internet while consistently providing WOW Member Service.
The Solutions Specialist will be the primary support for the Credit Union phone volume and be in a rotation for email and ticket coverage.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Basic transaction responsibilities include but are not limited to, performing financial transactions including telephone requests for withdrawals, transfers, lines of credit, credit card payments.
Performing related account functions such as balance inquiries, account Histories, file maintenance.
Promote Credit Union products and services in accordance with Performance Excellence Sales and Service Standards.
Solicits loan applications taking advantage of all cross-sale opportunities, Including CUNA insurance.
Adhere to the Success Metrics and Core Values and exemplify them while interacting with both internal and external members.
Achieve departmental and individual minimum performance standards.
including but not limited to, Phone.
Productivity, Payment Protection, GAP Insurance and needs based referrals.
Working knowledge of all systems needed to perform any task needed for member service purposes.
Working knowledge of all CU products and services.
Consistently handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma (or GED), and customer service experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent verbal and listening skills; strong grammar and writing skills to be able to respond to member e-mails and web chat efficiently and professionally.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as ability to maintain confidentiality.
Flexibility and a willingness to support the team.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to support online banking products including PC and mobile applications.
Strong proficiency with PC’s, smartphone technology, Windows environment, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to discuss and present product opportunities to members.
Starting Compensation: $20.
00 - $21.
00/hr.
