Duties DescriptionThe New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) is recruiting to fill a Senior Budgeting Analyst, Grade 18/Budgeting Analyst Trainee, NS, position assigned to the Administrative Support Services Group (ASSG).
ASSG supervises and manages OMH’s capital planning and construction program and provides direct technical assistance for physical plant operations and maintenance.
Specific duties to be performed may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain Capital Cash report, compile and generate necessary reports to determine month-to-month spending from Hard Dollar and bondable funding sources.
Procurement processing in the Statewide Financial System (SFS) including; purchase requisition entry, tracking dispatched purchase orders, resolving POCN or payment issues, receiving, and tracking and resolving invoice match exceptions.
Assist Division leads with development of annual Divisional Spending Plan.
Monitor annual contract expenditures.
Manage various tasks related to the Statewide Financial System that support the Division’s purchasing, travel, and user support functions.
Compile and generate custom reports for specific project data requests in support of the OMH Capital Program.
Support financial commitments and Business Case proposals within the agency’s Fleet Services program.
