Responsibilities:
Provide administrative assistance for the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative.
Provide support services and entitlement support to individuals living with mental illness.
Work closely with program managers and case management staff.
Coordinate care with other case managers and providers to wrap around services.
Coordinate with property and finance to process rental assistance for consumers, track program spending and help complete funding reporting.
Complete rental stipend breakdowns for ESSHI.
Advocate for consumers, work as a liaison with ESSHI landlords, TRIP and UH Property Department.
Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 2 years experience working with adults living with a mental illness or other at-risk populations required.
College degree in related field preferred.
Ideally, the right candidate would have excellent written and oral communication skills, be detailed orientated and organized.
You must be proficient with computers, Microsoft and comfortable to use outside databases.
Valid and current New York State Driver License.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
