Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient operation in a fast-paced office environment.
Duties:
* Provide assistance in scheduling and checking in clients for appointments
* Take copays and balances
* Answer the telephone; cancel and reschedule patients when necessary
* Answer routine questions from patients and insurance companies
* Communicate with staff and clients
* Review, evaluate, verify, and enter documents and information into the electronic health record system (EHR)
* Provide administrative and clerical support including correspondence, data input, and filing as needed
* Register new patients and updating existing patients’ information
* Responsible for maintaining confidentiality, including information covered by HIPAA
* Perform all other duties as assigned
Successful candidates for this position will:
* Be detailed oriented
* Have excellent communication skills
* Be organized and efficient
* Be a team player
* Prior experience with customer service and/or background in mental health preferred but not required
* High school graduate with additional education desireable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.
00 - $25.
00 per hour
